The One Thing Your Morning Routine Has Been Missing

Guess what?! The most effective morning rituals don’t have to be tedious or time-consuming. In fact, by the time you’re done reading this post, you could be well on your way to a better, and more energized morning altogether. And no, I’m not talking about the effects of your coffee kicking in.

So what does this little morning ritual entail? A small concoction I've been drinking for the past 30 days made up of Himalayan salt, water, and lemon I picked up from "Own The Day, Own Your Life" by Aubrey Marcus during my 30-day reading challenge. Sounds so simple right? That’s because it is. Just look at the three ingredients below.

Morning Concoction Recipe:

1. Mix ¼ - ½ organic lemon (squeezed) with 12 oz. room temp filtered water.

2. Add a pinch or two of Himalayan Salt (not to be confused with table salt).

3. Stir all three ingredients together and drink up the moment you wake up.


If you’re anything like me, you’ll quickly notice how much more energy you have (not to mention willpower when it comes to those early morning sugar cravings). And that’s just the beginning. This little concoction is also great for improving mental clarity and digestion, managing your body's pH balance, getting your daily vitamin C boost, and has even been said to act as a natural antihistamine for allergies (although my seasonal allergies would highly disagree). With benefits this good, there's no way I'm stopping at day 30.
