We all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day, right? But what if all those years of eating Eggo waffles, cereal, oatmeal and fruits for breakfast — not to mention a tall glass of orange juice has only been doing more harm than good? What if the thing that’s actually more important than eating breakfast is what you’re eating and when you’re eating it?

According to celeb nutritionist and author of Body Love, Kelly Leveque, starting our day off with sugar and/or carbs is precisely THE problem. In fact, it’s the very thing that forces our cravings, weight, and blood sugar levels to spiral out of control.

The goods new? You can steer clear of this crazy little food trap if you trade in your breakfast bars for a healthy mix of protein, fat, fiber & greens instead. And you might just come across some of the ah-mazing benefits I’ve included below:
